Chester Cathedral

Chester Cathedral, @unfoldtheday

There's something about Churches (or Cathedrals in the case of this, which belongs to Chester - a city founded in AD79 that sits some 40-odd miles SW of Manchester) that ever-encourages a wander, the light that shines through oft-stained-glass windows offering a beckon to come on over and have a proper look.

This particular day, the choir stalls hummed me a little 'come see us' tune, spiky canopies with crocketed arches dating back to the 14th century sitting beneath a light so golden of glow that I stood for longer than I usually would, soaking up the thick-with-quiet atmosphere whilst the sunshine brushed my exposed, turned-to-it wrists.

This, my friends, is a slow inch back into the gram. I went for a little story-of-sorts because that's what I fancied, and...one should always really do as one fancies when sharing one's own work, don't you think?

Expect orange. And interiors. And light!

How you doing? It has been a while!

P.s - thank you for all the ❤ gifted to me on my last post...blown away doesn't cut it!
